Villa Anak-Arun is a minimalist style apartment.
It has a spacious bedroom on the mezzanine, accommodating 2 adults, with an ensuite semi open-air bathroom. The bedroom level has a peekaboo view to the sea through the bamboo and other plants. The double-height living/dining room and kitchen have large bright windows overlooking the small tropical garden. The fully air-conditioned villa has direct access from the walking path at the mezzanine level and is accessible from the front terrace.
You can use 3 communal pools one is close to your apartment , below the yoga pavilion, a 6 x 6 round infinitypool overlooking the sea with cozy seating area and super sunrise views.
The two other pools arelarge infinitypools, the Central pool with views overlooking the Barat National Park and our famous Lingga pool you will find after a 10 minute hike uphill. Both have spectacular sunset views behind the Java volcanoes.

HOW TO GET THERE
We can arrange your transport from the airport or your hotel and drive you to Sumberkima Hill. The cost for a pick up from the airport is RP 960,000 for 4 people and luggage and IDR 1,020,000-IDR 1,440,000 for 5-10 people with luggage. Transport will take approximately 4 hours depending on how busy it is in the south.
It is also possible to make a day trip with scenic stops along the way for IDR 1,080.000 with a car suitable for 4 people. Scenic stops can be for instance, at the twin lakes, the Temple Ulun Danu and the Munduk Waterfall.

Directions from the south.
Sumberkima Hill is on a side street of the coast road from Seririt to Gilimanuk.
It is about a 50 minutes drive from Seririt.
Closer to Sumberkima Hill:
After Pemuteran you cross a bridge to reach Sumberkima. After 400 meters you pass a small airfield on your right. Then after 500 meters you pass the Lpd bank on your left side. After 700 meters you will see a Sumberkima Hill sign on the right side of the road, indicating the exit is 650 meters away. There you will find signs on a pillar at the right side of the road directing you to a small side road up the hill on your left. Please take a left at that sign. You can follow the small signs after that.
Directions from Gilimanuk harbor.
If you arrive from the harbour, coming from Java (Ketapang), we can pick you up in Gilimanuk (Bali) approx. a 30-minute drive. Please note Bali time is one hour later compared to Java time. The cost for a pick up is IDR 360.000 for a car suitable for 4 people and luggage and IDR 600.000 for a car up to 10 people and luggage. It is also possible to get your own taxi at the harbour.

After a 20 minute drive from Gilimanuk towards Singaraja, you will reach Pejarakan village bypassing the Mimpi Resort Menjangan sign on your left.
After a 5 minutes drive from Pejarakan, you will reach Sumberkima Village.
After 900 meters you will see a Sumberkima Hill sign on the left side of the road, indicating the entrance is 650 meters away. There you will find signs on a pillar on the left side of the road directing you to a small side road up the hill on your right. Please take a right at that sign. You can follow the small signs after that.

Sumberkima Hill Guest Agreement
GENERAL
Sumberkima Hill is a private villa retreat where you can enjoy the privacy of your own villa, supported by a range of services. Unlike a standard resort, Sumberkima Hill feels more like a village. Each villa is unique and individually owned, and most come with a private pool. Some budget options share a communal pool. Please note that due to the individual ownership of villas, switching accommodations upon arrival is usually not possible.
BOOKING
The payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below and shall be binding on all guests, whether or not a booking form is signed.
RATES
Rates are quoted per villa and are inclusive for all guests staying within the villa’s maximum capacity. Children up to 2 years of age stay free of charge when using a baby cot or sharing a bed with parents. Baby cots and a highchair are provided at no additional cost, subject to availability.
An extra bed may be added upon request at an additional charge.
All rates are in IDR and include government taxes and service fees. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable on arrival by cash or card (Visa/Mastercard). Charges for on-site services are quoted in IDR.

Housekeeping Policy: To respect your privacy, housekeeping is only provided on request, free of charge. Please notify us one day in advance if you’d like our team to clean your villa. Service hours are between 08:00 AM and 15:00 PM.
If no request is made, our team will reach out after 5 nights to offer cleaning, fresh towels, or linen changes.
Excessive cleaning required upon departure may incur an additional fee.
Not included in the rate: - Beverages from the fridge/minibar - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
CANCELLATION POLICY
• A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
• Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival are fully refundable.
• Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival are non-refundable.
• Refunds will be processed upon request, with any applicable transfer fees deducted from the
refunded amount.

OCCUPANCY / NUMBER OF GUESTS
Guests must provide accurate information about the number of people staying in the villa. If more guests arrive than stated in the booking, Sumberkima Hill reserves the right to refuse entry or charge additional fees.
All guests must present valid ID or passports upon check-in for registration, as per local regulations.
COMPLAINTS
If you experience any issues during your stay, please contact our Front Office immediately so we can resolve the matter as soon as possible.
SOUND POLICY
Due to the hillside location, sound carries easily. Please be mindful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially in the evening and early morning.
NATURE & ENVIRONMENT
You are staying in a natural environment where insects and small animals like cicaks and geckos are part of the landscape.
The surrounding scenery will vary with the seasons — expect lush greenery during the rainy season (November to May) and drier landscapes from May to November.
ANIMAL VISITORS
As part of our natural setting, you may encounter harmless local cats, dogs, or chickens during your stay. They are friendly, part of the surrounding environment, and sometimes wander into villas or communal areas. If you prefer not to be visited, our team can help gently guide them away. We ask that guests treat all animals with kindness and respect. In most villas it is allowed to bring pets, but not all owners allow this. An additional fee for cleaning might apply.
DAMAGE, LOSS & THEFT
Guests are responsible for any damage to or removal of villa inventory during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, decor, appliances, linens, and other items belonging to the villa.
Missing or damaged items may be charged after checkout.
We kindly ask guests to treat the villa and its contents with care and respect.
SAFETY & LIABILITY
Sumberkima Hill is located on a hillside in a rural environment with natural features, public village roads, and varying levels of height. While we take great care to provide a safe and well-maintained environment, guests remain fully responsible for their own safety, actions, and personal belongings during their stay.
Please exercise caution when using stairs, pools, paths, uneven ground, and other natural features, and take care when enjoying any of our facilities. Children must be supervised at all times.
By booking and staying at Sumberkima Hill, guests acknowledge and accept that Sumberkima Hill, its owners, and staff cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part.
Sumberkima Hill is not responsible for events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or actions of third parties.

Homely Villa
The two pools were a special attraction, and the staff were very helpful, friendly, and competent. Both restaurants impressed with the high quality and variety of their dishes. Our Villa Anak Arun was very homely. The wonderful planting of the complex is also particularly worth mentioning. A shuttle is available around the clock. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back

This place is amazing
This place is amazing if you want to chill and stay away from the busy places in Bali and go to a peaceful and calm one. Definitely this place was one of the highlights of my Bali trip, would come back.
One of my favorite places I stayed
This was probably one of my favorite places I stayed during my trip to Bali. The villa itself was perfect, very clean and well equipped (The bed was comfortable as a bonus!). The staff was so kind, responsive and very helpful. The property is located a little ways from town but they have a shuttle that takes you & picks you up making it easy to still see the sights & go adventure. The property is absolutely stunning with wonderful sunrise and sunset views. Highly recommend!
We wished we had stayed longer.
My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon in Bali and we wished we had stayed longer. It was our favourite leg of the trip. We stayed in Villa Anak Arun and it was beautifully laid out with just the right amount of space for 2 people. We realized after we checked in that most other villas come with private infinity pools and ours did not, but honestly we were happy that we had access to three communal infinity pools, which were never overly busy. The service was amazing - they give you access to a WhatsApp group which we were able to use to ask questions, order room service, order a complimentary shuttle, and find out about activities in the area. We would highly recommend visiting the national park and Menjangan island. This place has a very romantic atmosphere so very appropriate for couples - sunsets over Javanese volcanos, beautiful views and good fresh food. We also appreciated that they are very ecologically friendly so we felt good about staying here. The food from the on-site restaurants used fresh fruits, veggies and herbs from their on-site garden, they are involved in reforestation programs and encourage guests to participate. They also offer their homemade soaps and shampoos in the villas so the entire experience felt eco-friendly and sustainable. It’s important for guests to be aware though that this is a nature retreat so the villas can be quite open concept. Our villa was more closed off than others. The open concept also means that sounds from the surrounding areas can carry up the hills, but this did not bother us. Overall, we had a fantastic experience here and can’t wait to come back!
Comfy villas; breathtaking views; amazing food
They have such a wide range of villas to stay in - all beautiful and thoughtfully arranged and within different price ranges. The views are just stunning - breathtaking every day. There is so much to do around the area and you feel just immersed in nature. Also Suma restaurant was absolutely delicious for every meal. We wish we could stay here longer!
