Below you’ll find step-by-step directions, depending on where you’re coming from:
🚘 From the South (Denpasar/Ubud/Canggu, etc.)
Sumberkima Hill is located on a small side road off the coastal highway between Seririt and Gilimanuk.
- Approx. 50 minutes after Seririt, heading west
- After Pemuteran, cross a bridge into Sumberkima
- 400 meters later, pass a small airfield on your right
- After 500 meters, pass the LPD Bank on your left
- 700 meters later, look for a Sumberkima Hill sign on the right side of the road
– it tells you the turnoff is 650 meters ahead - Take a left turn at the pillar with signs pointing up the hill
- Follow the small Sumberkima Hill signs
- Continue past the main lobby and drive straight up the hill until you reach the Whana Warung reception
⛴️ From Gilimanuk Harbor (Java Ferry Port)
If you're arriving from Java (Ketapang), we can pick you up in Gilimanuk, Bali. Travel time is approx. 30 minutes to Sumberkima Hill.

Driving yourself? Here’s how to reach us:
- Head east from Gilimanuk toward Singaraja
- After about 20 minutes, you’ll pass Pejarakan village
- Look out for the Mimpi Resort Menjangan sign on your left
- Continue for about 5 minutes until you reach Sumberkima Village
- 900 meters later, you’ll see a Sumberkima Hill sign on the left side of the road
– it tells you the entrance is 650 meters ahead - Take a right turn at the pillar with signs and follow the small road up the hill
- Keep following the signs up past the Sumberkima Hill lobby until you arrive at the Whana Warung reception

Sumberkima Hill Agreement
GENERAL
Sumberkima Hill is a private villa retreat where you can enjoy the privacy of an individual villa, but still have resort type services at your disposal. All villas are different and have their own unique features. There are also some rooms available with a shared pool. Please be aware it is difficult to change villas on arrival as villas have different owners.
BOOKING
The payment of the deposit amount confirms the acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below and shall be binding on the Guests’ intention to occupy the premises whether or not such persons have signed the booking form.
RATES
Add the correct amount of people arriving during your booking. The base rate applies to 1 or 2 guests using one room. If you use more bedrooms in a villa or have more than 2 guests, an additional rate per extra guest applies. Children up to and including 2 years old will not be charged if they use a baby cot or sleep in the same bed as the parents. Baby Cots and a highchair are available free of charge. All rates are quoted in IDR and include service fee and government taxes . 50% payment is due at time of booking. The remaining balance can be paid on arrival, cash or via our credit card machine suitable for Master and Visa Card. In case of a credit card payment in Bali 2% will be added. Your rental comes with the facilities listed on the relevant web page. Expenses made at the villa are quoted in IDR.
INCLUDED / NOT INCLUDED
Rates include normal use of water, cost of electricity, tea and coffee, housekeeping services (including clean sheets and towels). Beverages from the fridge are not included. Rates in the villas do not include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and beverages from the fridge. A cleaning and refilling of the fridge is scheduled daily. The cleaning includes a change of towels and sheets on average every 4 to 5 days. A more frequent cleaning is possible, upon request (within reason). Any excessive cleaning required upon departure, can be charged. No other additional services, non-mentioned here, are included.
CANCELLATION POLICY
50% of prepayments are refundable when cancelled 60 days before arrival or earlier.
0%is refundable if cancelled within 60 days of planned arrival.
Refunds will be sent without transfer fees.
CHECKING IN & OUT
General check-in time is from 15:00 and general check-out time is prior to 12 noon, unless otherwise agreed.
OCCUPANCY / NUMBER OF GUESTS
On arrival Guests will be asked for their passports or identity cards, so that the front office can register the Guests in accordance with regulations. The standard capacity differs per villa. We ask customers to state clearly during booking the final number of all guests who will be arriving.
If the number of guests exceeds the maximum capacity, this has to be agreed on booking and any changes have to be advised prior to arrival. Sumberkima Hill reserves the right to refuse extra guests if the number exceeds the maximum capacity after a booking has been made. If extra guests arrive at the property on or after the arrival date unexpectedly, the Front office is within the right to refuse the guests or make an additional charge.
COMPLAINTS
If, during your stay in the villa, the Guest should run into any problem or issue deemed as cause for complaint concerning our property, the matter should be taken up with The Front Office, so a solution can be provided if possible.
SOUND
Please note as we are on the Hill sounds travel far. All guests should refrain from making unnecessary noise and need to respect the surrounding villas.
NATURE AND ENVIRONMENT
Since we are in the tropics and in the middle of nature you can expect to encounter insects and small animals like Cicaks and Gekko’s (animals that eat the insects) during your stay.
The views from the villas will vary depending on the season. The rainy season is typically from November until May and the vegetation will become more green. The dry season starts around May till November and the area around us will slowly become more dry. More green surroundings can be expected starting Mid December to June on average.

ANIMAL VISITORS
As part of our natural setting, you may encounter harmless local cats, dogs, or chickens during your stay. They are friendly, part of the surrounding environment, and sometimes wander into villas or communal areas. If you prefer not to be visited, our team can help gently guide them away. We ask that guests treat all animals with kindness and respect. In most villas it is allowed to bring pets, but not all owners allow this. An additional fee for cleaning might apply.
DAMAGE, LOSS & THEFT
Guests are responsible for any damage to or removal of villa inventory during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, decor, appliances, linens, and other items belonging to the villa.
Missing or damaged items may be charged after checkout.
We kindly ask guests to treat the villa and its contents with care and respect.
SAFETY & LIABILITY
Sumberkima Hill is located on a hillside in a rural environment with natural features, public village roads, and varying levels of height. While we take great care to provide a safe and well-maintained environment, guests remain fully responsible for their own safety, actions, and personal belongings during their stay.
Please exercise caution when using stairs, pools, paths, uneven ground, and other natural features, and take care when enjoying any of our facilities. Children must be supervised at all times.
By booking and staying at Sumberkima Hill, guests acknowledge and accept that Sumberkima Hill, its owners, and staff cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part.
Sumberkima Hill is not responsible for events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or actions of third parties.

Perfect for us.
Since the glamping cabins also have access to the 4-star resort's pools and the restaurants are very fair in terms of price, it was perfect for us as backpackers who wanted to treat themselves to a night.

Loved, loved, loved my stay here! The view is, dare I say, the best on the hill. Uninterrupted panoramic views to the volcanos. I spent hours on the balcony enjoying it. The cabins are clean and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is down some stairs and shared but that was expected and the view from the shower and toilet is insane too. The restaurants close by are delicious. The staff of the cabins are wonderful. So helpful and accommodating. Also the staff of Sumberkima were great in helping me book a snorkelling trip which was incredible. I cannot wait to come back! Thank you team!

This place is amazing. The view is really nice, the two pools of the hotel are really nice also. The cabin doesn’t have AC but the fan is enough, nights are not that warm there, and it was really clean. Bathroom is shared but close to the cabin, with a view and really clean. I highly recommend to wake up for the sunrise, the view is absolutely amazing.

Hôtel au top! Nous avons trouvé notre bungalow (cabin 3) super sympa et charmant, le seul point négatif est qu’il n’y a pas de toilettes ni de douche, mais nous le savions car c’est bien précisé au moment de la réservation ! Le lit est vraiment confortable, et la vue le matin à couper le souffle. Le sentier pour accéder peut être un petit peu risqué avec des tongs mouillées mais avec des chaussures normales c’est très bien. Le complexe est très agréable : deux piscines « publiques », 2 restaurants, une salle de yoga et un spa, le tout accessible à pied en maximum 15 minutes depuis notre cabine.Tout est un peu éloigné, si vous restez plusieurs jours le scooter que vous loueriez pour vos escapades de la journée vous sera utile pour vous balader dans le complexe.
