From 11 January 2026 until 1 July 2026, there will be construction activity in the area. After the high season, construction will continue from 1 September 2026 until 20 December 2026.
To compensate for any possible disturbance, a 30% discount has already been applied to the rates shown for bookings during these periods.
Work will take place only during daytime hours, and we will do our utmost to ensure your stay remains comfortable and enjoyable.

Villa Kupu Kupu offers a serene escape for couples or families. This brand-new villa combines comfort with stunning vistas, featuring a spacious enclosed bedroom that includes a king-sized bed and a bunk bed, making it ideal for up to 4 people.
The villa boasts a bathroom, an open lounge area equipped with air conditioning and glass doors—allowing you to keep the space cool or let the tropical breeze flow through, a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy couch perfect for soaking in the breathtaking views of the valley and sea.
There’s also a separate TV corner with a comfortable sofa for quiet relaxation or entertainment.
Step outside to your private pool terrace and infinity pool of 10 x 4 meters, complete with a gazebo for lounging and taking in the incredible sunset views over the volcanoes.
Please note: Some construction activity may occur in the area. We will do our best to manage any disruptions to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible.

We can arrange your transport from the airport or your previous hotel in a car with air conditioning. It is a scenic drive from the south and it will take approximately 4 hours depending on the traffic.
From the airport – If you would like us to arrange transport from the airport, please provide your flight number and arrival time. A pick up for 2-4 people with luggage is IDR 850.000. For 5-10 people with luggage we can pick you up in a comfortable limousine with a rate of IDR 1.450.000. You can pay the driver directly.
From your previous hotel – We can arrange transport from your previous location. Rates depend on the location and the amount of people. It is also possible to make a day tour with scenic stops along the way. For instance stops from the south can be the Temple Ulun Danu, the Twin Lakes and the Munduk Waterfall. The rate for a day tour is IDR 900.000 with a car suitable for up to 4 people.
From Gilimanuk harbor in Bali - The rate for a pick up is IDR 400.000 for a car suitable for 4 people and luggage and IDR 900.000 for a larger car up to 10 people and luggage. Please note there is an hour time difference, in Bali it is an hour later compared to Java.

Directions from the south.
Sumberkima Hill is on a side street of the coast road from Seririt to Gilimanuk.
It is about a 50 minutes drive from Seririt.
Closer to Sumberkima Hill:
After Pemuteran you cross a bridge to reach Sumberkima. After 400 meters you pass a small airfield on your right. Then after 500 meters you pass the Lpd bank on your left side. After 700 meters you will see a Sumberkima Hill sign on the right side of the road, indicating the exit is 650 meters away. There you will find signs on a pillar at the right side of the road directing you to a small side road up the hill on your left. Please take a left at that sign. You can follow the small signs after that.

After a 20 minute drive from Gilimanuk towards Singaraja, you will reach Pejarakan village bypassing the Mimpi Resort Menjangan sign on your left.
After a 5 minutes drive from Pejarakan, you will reach Sumberkima Village.
After 900 meters you will see a Sumberkima Hill sign on the left side of the road, indicating the entrance is 650 meters away. There you will find signs on a pillar on the left side of the road directing you to a small side road up the hill on your right. Please take a right at that sign. You can follow the small signs after that.

Sumberkima Hill Guest Agreement
GENERAL
Sumberkima Hill is a private villa retreat where you can enjoy the privacy of your own villa, supported by a range of services. Unlike a standard resort, Sumberkima Hill feels more like a village. Each villa is unique and individually owned, and most come with a private pool. Some budget options share a communal pool. Please note that due to the individual ownership of villas, switching accommodations upon arrival is usually not possible.
BOOKING
The payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below and shall be binding on all guests, whether or not a booking form is signed.
RATES
Rates are quoted per villa and are inclusive for all guests staying within the villa’s maximum capacity. Children up to 2 years of age stay free of charge when using a baby cot or sharing a bed with parents. Baby cots and a highchair are provided at no additional cost, subject to availability.
An extra bed may be added upon request at an additional charge.
All rates are in IDR and include government taxes and service fees. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable on arrival by cash or card (Visa/Mastercard). Charges for on-site services are quoted in IDR.

Housekeeping Policy: To respect your privacy, housekeeping is only provided on request, free of charge. Please notify us one day in advance if you’d like our team to clean your villa. Service hours are between 08:00 AM and 15:00 PM.
If no request is made, our team will reach out after 5 nights to offer cleaning, fresh towels, or linen changes.
Excessive cleaning required upon departure may incur an additional fee.
Not included in the rate: - Beverages from the fridge/minibar - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
CANCELLATION POLICY
• A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
• Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival are fully refundable.
• Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival are non-refundable.
• Refunds will be processed upon request, with any applicable transfer fees deducted from the
refunded amount.

• Check-out: before 12:00 noon, unless otherwise agreed
OCCUPANCY / NUMBER OF GUESTS
Guests must provide accurate information about the number of people staying in the villa. If more guests arrive than stated in the booking, Sumberkima Hill reserves the right to refuse entry or charge additional fees.
All guests must present valid ID or passports upon check-in for registration, as per local regulations.
COMPLAINTS
If you experience any issues during your stay, please contact our Front Office immediately so we can resolve the matter as soon as possible.
SOUND POLICY
Due to the hillside location, sound carries easily. Please be mindful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially in the evening and early morning.
NATURE & ENVIRONMENT
You are staying in a natural environment where insects and small animals like cicaks and geckos are part of the landscape.
The surrounding scenery will vary with the seasons — expect lush greenery during the rainy season (November to May) and drier landscapes from May to November.
ANIMAL VISITORS
As part of our natural setting, you may encounter harmless local cats, dogs, or chickens during your stay. They are friendly, part of the surrounding environment, and sometimes wander into villas or communal areas. If you prefer not to be visited, our team can help gently guide them away. We ask that guests treat all animals with kindness and respect. In most villas it is allowed to bring pets, but not all owners allow this. An additional fee for cleaning might apply.
DAMAGE, LOSS & THEFT
Guests are responsible for any damage to or removal of villa inventory during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, decor, appliances, linens, and other items belonging to the villa.
Missing or damaged items may be charged after checkout.
We kindly ask guests to treat the villa and its contents with care and respect.
SAFETY & LIABILITY
Sumberkima Hill is located on a hillside in a rural environment with natural features, public village roads, and varying levels of height. While we take great care to provide a safe and well-maintained environment, guests remain fully responsible for their own safety, actions, and personal belongings during their stay.
Please exercise caution when using stairs, pools, paths, uneven ground, and other natural features, and take care when enjoying any of our facilities. Children must be supervised at all times.
By booking and staying at Sumberkima Hill, guests acknowledge and accept that Sumberkima Hill, its owners, and staff cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part.
Sumberkima Hill is not responsible for events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or actions of third parties.

Felt like home...With the most incredible sunset
We stayed at Villa Kupu Kupu in Sumberkima Hills, and I absolutely loved it. I went with a friend, and the villa was perfect for the two of us, but it could easily accommodate four people as well. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to see a bunk bed in the bedroom! I’ve always had a soft spot for bunk beds because they remind me of my childhood, so that little detail made me smile. One of my favorite things about this villa is how the living room, dining area, and kitchen are all indoors but can easily be opened up to feel like a semi-outdoor space just by sliding the glass doors away. It felt so airy and inviting, you get the best of both worlds! And the view… wow. Since the villa is set higher up on the hill, you get this incredible, panoramic view of the sea and mountains. We were treated to the most breathtaking sunset from up there. I’d happily come back again. Maybe next time with a bigger group to enjoy it together.
Spacious and breathtaking view.
Villa Kupu-Kupu is gorgeous. I love how open the space is, yet there’s a sliding door for privacy at night and mosquitoes (unlike most villas in Sumberkima where the living room is completely outdoors). There’s quite a bit of construction happening around the area, but I wasn’t affected — most of it took place while I was out at the restaurant or spa. The view from the pool at night is pure magic. Because there aren’t many villas surrounding Kupu-Kupu, it’s incredibly quiet with barely any lights so I got to enjoy the Milky Way and starry skies throughout my 4-night stay. Yes, MILKYWAY! ✨ The villa is also well-equipped with a microwave and full kitchen amenities, which made it super convenient for me to heat up food when I didn’t feel like dining at the restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend this villa for its ultimate privacy, comfort, and the stunning night sky views.
