Joglos are a living space that espouses our core value: to build in harmony with nature as well as native culture. Cempaka Joglo represents this unity, every piece of it contains a slice of history, and the gazebo with its sprawling views ensures that nature is at your fingertips! It has a single bedroom with a double bed and amadura bed that can sleep three, and a sunset view that promises a connecting experience! Cempaka has a outdoor bath in the garden.
You can use 2 large communal infinitypools, the Central pool with views overlooking the Barat National Park and our famous Lingga pool you will find after a 10 minute hike uphill. Both have spectacular sunset views behind the Java volcanoes.

HOW TO GET THERE
We can arrange your transport from the airport or your hotel and drive you to Sumberkima Hill. The cost for a pick up from the airport is RP 960,000 for 4 people and luggage and IDR 1,020,000-IDR 1,440,000 for 5-10 people with luggage. Transport will take approximately 4 hours depending on how busy it is in the south.
It is also possible to make a day trip with scenic stops along the way for IDR 1,080.000 with a car suitable for 4 people. Scenic stops can be for instance, at the twin lakes, the Temple Ulun Danu and the Munduk Waterfall.

Directions from the south.
Sumberkima Hill is on a side street of the coast road from Seririt to Gilimanuk.
It is about a 50 minutes drive from Seririt.
Closer to Sumberkima Hill:
After Pemuteran you cross a bridge to reach Sumberkima. After 400 meters you pass a small airfield on your right. Then after 500 meters you pass the Lpd bank on your left side. After 700 meters you will see a Sumberkima Hill sign on the right side of the road, indicating the exit is 650 meters away. There you will find signs on a pillar at the right side of the road directing you to a small side road up the hill on your left. Please take a left at that sign. You can follow the small signs after that.
Directions from Gilimanuk harbor.
If you arrive from the harbour, coming from Java (Ketapang), we can pick you up in Gilimanuk (Bali) approx. a 30-minute drive. Please note Bali time is one hour later compared to Java time. The cost for a pick up is IDR 360.000 for a car suitable for 4 people and luggage and IDR 600.000 for a car up to 10 people and luggage. It is also possible to get your own taxi at the harbour.

After a 20 minute drive from Gilimanuk towards Singaraja, you will reach Pejarakan village bypassing the Mimpi Resort Menjangan sign on your left.
After a 5 minutes drive from Pejarakan, you will reach Sumberkima Village.
After 900 meters you will see a Sumberkima Hill sign on the left side of the road, indicating the entrance is 650 meters away. There you will find signs on a pillar on the left side of the road directing you to a small side road up the hill on your right. Please take a right at that sign. You can follow the small signs after that.

Sumberkima Hill Guest Agreement
GENERAL
Sumberkima Hill is a private villa retreat where you can enjoy the privacy of your own villa, supported by a range of services. Unlike a standard resort, Sumberkima Hill feels more like a village. Each villa is unique and individually owned, and most come with a private pool. Some budget options share a communal pool. Please note that due to the individual ownership of villas, switching accommodations upon arrival is usually not possible.
BOOKING
The payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below and shall be binding on all guests, whether or not a booking form is signed.
RATES
Rates are quoted per villa and are inclusive for all guests staying within the villa’s maximum capacity. Children up to 2 years of age stay free of charge when using a baby cot or sharing a bed with parents. Baby cots and a highchair are provided at no additional cost, subject to availability.
An extra bed may be added upon request at an additional charge.
All rates are in IDR and include government taxes and service fees. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable on arrival by cash or card (Visa/Mastercard). Charges for on-site services are quoted in IDR.

Housekeeping Policy: To respect your privacy, housekeeping is only provided on request, free of charge. Please notify us one day in advance if you’d like our team to clean your villa. Service hours are between 08:00 AM and 15:00 PM.
If no request is made, our team will reach out after 5 nights to offer cleaning, fresh towels, or linen changes.
Excessive cleaning required upon departure may incur an additional fee.
Not included in the rate: - Beverages from the fridge/minibar - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
CANCELLATION POLICY
• A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
• Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival are fully refundable.
• Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival are non-refundable.
• Refunds will be processed upon request, with any applicable transfer fees deducted from the
refunded amount.

• Check-out: before 12:00 noon, unless otherwise agreed
OCCUPANCY / NUMBER OF GUESTS
Guests must provide accurate information about the number of people staying in the villa. If more guests arrive than stated in the booking, Sumberkima Hill reserves the right to refuse entry or charge additional fees.
All guests must present valid ID or passports upon check-in for registration, as per local regulations.
COMPLAINTS
If you experience any issues during your stay, please contact our Front Office immediately so we can resolve the matter as soon as possible.
SOUND POLICY
Due to the hillside location, sound carries easily. Please be mindful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially in the evening and early morning.
NATURE & ENVIRONMENT
You are staying in a natural environment where insects and small animals like cicaks and geckos are part of the landscape.
The surrounding scenery will vary with the seasons — expect lush greenery during the rainy season (November to May) and drier landscapes from May to November.
ANIMAL VISITORS
As part of our natural setting, you may encounter harmless local cats, dogs, or chickens during your stay. They are friendly, part of the surrounding environment, and sometimes wander into villas or communal areas. If you prefer not to be visited, our team can help gently guide them away. We ask that guests treat all animals with kindness and respect. In most villas it is allowed to bring pets, but not all owners allow this. An additional fee for cleaning might apply.
DAMAGE, LOSS & THEFT
Guests are responsible for any damage to or removal of villa inventory during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, decor, appliances, linens, and other items belonging to the villa.
Missing or damaged items may be charged after checkout.
We kindly ask guests to treat the villa and its contents with care and respect.
SAFETY & LIABILITY
Sumberkima Hill is located on a hillside in a rural environment with natural features, public village roads, and varying levels of height. While we take great care to provide a safe and well-maintained environment, guests remain fully responsible for their own safety, actions, and personal belongings during their stay.
Please exercise caution when using stairs, pools, paths, uneven ground, and other natural features, and take care when enjoying any of our facilities. Children must be supervised at all times.
By booking and staying at Sumberkima Hill, guests acknowledge and accept that Sumberkima Hill, its owners, and staff cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part.
Sumberkima Hill is not responsible for events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or actions of third parties.

Beautiful Villa
Beautiful villa located inside of Sumberkima Hill. There are two restaurants in the resort but you can always get a car into the town if you're looking for something different. Rooms were spacious with fantastic views. The area was the biggest highlight

It was my second time at Sumberkima Hill retrit... A great place away from the bustle of central Bali. If you are looking for a place where you would like to rest your soul, Sumberkima Hills are the place. It’s a pity that I only had a couple of days to stay here..... I’m looking forward to my next vacation and I know exactly where I’ll go right from the airport.

We had a lovely stay in this lovely joglo. The service is perfect: responsive, caring and always smiling. The surrounding nature is beautiful! We enjoyed the 2 good restaurants, the 2 beautiful communal pools and the spa that offers a full range of treatments.

Thanks a lot, to all the staff for such a wonderful place! We had a big New Year trip around the island and we planned to stay in this place for only 3 days, but ended up spending a week. Everything is very beautiful, the villa itself, insane views of the mountains and volcanoes, service and service, excellent restaurants, everything is created for you to enjoy, relax and think about nothing. The villas are decorated with plants in such a way that a feeling of freedom is created, a feeling of exclusively own territory. An outdoor bath is just a chic solution, at night you can lie down and look at the stars. My wife and I absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for this weekend

Most comfortable place for me in all of Bali
Stayed at Cempaka Joglo Villa. This is the most comfortable place for me in all of Bali. This villa is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The compliments of the hotel in the form of coffee, tea and water were a nice bonus. The view from the villa is amazing! You can watch the sunset and the mountains for hours… it is a pity that we could not extend our stay at this villa, as it was booked by the following guests. Also, I want to thank the staff, especially the receptionist Ari. The girl showed different villas, helped with all domestic issues and was always friendly and very positive. All questions and requests were resolved promptly. The only inconvenience in the layout of the villa is the sink in the common room. Not very convenient, as you can wake up those who are still sleeping. I also had an incredibly pleasant impression from the restaurant with an unforgettable view and atmosphere.

Just a Dream! I would LOVE to THANK each and every employee for an unforgettable time. I stayed in two diffrent Villas and every Villa has like their own Motto. I have been to 26 countries and Sumberkima Hill Resort was the most beautiful I have ever seen. Not putting into words.. Paradiese. From the cleanliness, the comfort, the style, the simplicity, the energy of the spaces, the spa, the choices, the location, the staff, they have been like family to me....
