Sumberkima Hill Agreement

GENERAL

Sumberkima Hill is a private villa retreat where you can enjoy the privacy of an individual villa, but still have resort type services at your disposal. All villas are different and have their own unique features. There are also some rooms available with a shared pool. Please be aware it is difficult to change villas on arrival as villas have different owners.

BOOKING

The payment of the deposit amount confirms the acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below and shall be binding on the Guests’ intention to occupy the premises whether or not such persons have signed the booking form.

RATES

Add the correct amount of people arriving during your booking. The base rate applies to 1 or 2 guests using one room. If you use more bedrooms in a villa or have more than 2 guests, an additional rate per extra guest applies. Children up to and including 2 years old will not be charged if they use a baby cot or sleep in the same bed as the parents. Baby Cots and a highchair are available free of charge. All rates are quoted in IDR and include service fee and government taxes . 50% payment is due at time of booking. The remaining balance can be paid on arrival, cash or via our credit card machine suitable for Master and Visa Card. In case of a credit card payment in Bali 2% will be added. Your rental comes with the facilities listed on the relevant web page. Expenses made at the villa are quoted in IDR.

INCLUDED / NOT INCLUDED

Rates include normal use of water, cost of electricity, tea and coffee, housekeeping services (including clean sheets and towels). Beverages from the fridge are not included. Rates in the villas do not include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and beverages from the fridge. A cleaning and refilling of the fridge is scheduled daily. The cleaning includes a change of towels and sheets on average every 4 to 5 days. A more frequent cleaning is possible, upon request (within reason). Any excessive cleaning required upon departure, can be charged. No other additional services, non-mentioned here, are included.

CANCELLATION POLICY

50% of prepayments are refundable when cancelled 60 days before arrival or earlier.
0%is refundable if cancelled within 60 days of planned arrival.
Refunds will be sent without transfer fees.

CHECKING IN & OUT

General check-in time is from 15:00 and general check-out time is prior to 12 noon, unless otherwise agreed.

OCCUPANCY / NUMBER OF GUESTS

On arrival Guests will be asked for their passports or identity cards, so that the front office can register the Guests in accordance with regulations. The standard capacity differs per villa. We ask customers to state clearly during booking the final number of all guests who will be arriving.
If the number of guests exceeds the maximum capacity, this has to be agreed on booking and any changes have to be advised prior to arrival. Sumberkima Hill reserves the right to refuse extra guests if the number exceeds the maximum capacity after a booking has been made. If extra guests arrive at the property on or after the arrival date unexpectedly, the Front office is within the right to refuse the guests or make an additional charge.

COMPLAINTS

If, during your stay in the villa, the Guest should run into any problem or issue deemed as cause for complaint concerning our property, the matter should be taken up with The Front Office, so a solution can be provided if possible.

SOUND

Please note as we are on the Hill sounds travel far. All guests should refrain from making unnecessary noise and need to respect the surrounding villas.

NATURE AND ENVIRONMENT

Since we are in the tropics and in the middle of nature you can expect to encounter insects and small animals like Cicaks and Gekko’s (animals that eat the insects) during your stay.
The views from the villas will vary depending on the season. The rainy season is typically from November until May and the vegetation will become more green. The dry season starts around May till November and the area around us will slowly become more dry. More green surroundings can be expected starting Mid December to June on average.

SAFETY & LIABILITY

Sumberkima Hill is located on a hillside in a rural environment with natural features, public village roads, and varying levels of height. While we take great care to provide a safe and well-maintained environment, guests remain fully responsible for their own safety, actions, and personal belongings during their stay.

Please exercise caution when using stairs, pools, paths, uneven ground, and other natural features, and take care when enjoying any of our facilities. Children must be supervised at all times.

By booking and staying at Sumberkima Hill, guests acknowledge and accept that Sumberkima Hill, its owners, and staff cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part.

Sumberkima Hill is not responsible for events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or actions of third parties.
